Default line in for stock head unit?

Maybe I'm using the wrong search terms but I can't find what I'm looking for so if someone can point me in the direction of a thread that would be great otherwise here's my question:

I'm looking for the upgraded stereo for the '06 xB's (the one where you can plug in an Ipod) and I'm pretty sure I would need a line out converter if I want to hook up subs but my real question is: Is there a way to do a line in into stock head units? I want to hook up sound from a monitor and ICE dvd player. I know I know...it can be done with an aftermarket head unit but I really want to keep the look of the system as close to stock as possible. I'm going for that sleeper/stealth look. any input/ideas is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

...Line-In for a secondary source? Nope.
What you could do is connect your DVD player and stock radio (using LOCs, of course) via RCA Y-cables to aftermarket amplification. You would need amplification for your highs, but this would allow you to run the DVD and stock radio through your stereo system.
Even though you don't want to hear it, an aftermarket HU is also a very good solution. You'll get much better quality audio along with all of the additional features, such as a secondary input or line-in. If you want to keep the stock appearance for theft prevention purposes, you could always cut off the front face of the stock stereo and just stick it in place over your aftermarket unit when not in use.

Thanks, I thought that would be the case. I guess cutting off the face of the stock stereo would be the second best option.
