LeeD 12-19-2004, 03:47 AM I tried to reply to your original post, but will reply here.. Another way to think of toe is just look down at your feet. When you point your toes together, this is called "toe in". Point them apart, "toe out". Typically, you want either as little toe in as possible, because as you can imagine, the tires will scrub a little when rolling forward. For a more responsive feeling, or twitchier car, give a little toe out in the front. In the rear, you ALWAYS want toe in. djllorens 12-20-2004, 06:42 AM I tried to reply to your original post, but will reply here.. Another way to think of toe is just look down at your feet. THANKS I will get aligment just to be in the safe side  FreakinA 12-20-2004, 06:45 AM I'd love to lower my RS like that, but I wonder if I'll scrape bottom going over these massive speed bumps around my house. Do you ever have a problem with that? djllorens 12-20-2004, 06:56 AM Not much speed bumps in my area but when i drive to my driveway i cant go straight .. must turn a little  Epitrochoid 12-20-2004, 03:28 PM Looks good! The Goldlines are a bit lower than my TRD springs. How's the ride? You might also consider the rear hub shims to widen the rear and fill the well out better. Here's my RS with the TRD and OneTonGarage shims... http://www.scionlife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=439180#439180 bbcrud 12-20-2004, 03:40 PM Nice ride. Every SE should be lowered. There oughta be a law! We try to keep one on the lot lowered with wheels and tint. It helps people see what the xA can be with a little nudge. |
