I used a transparent tape from a craft store and it was sticky on one side and just cut it to size and stuck it on there. I was just seeing how it looked before i went and bought bulbs and took everything apart. looks good now so i think i will buy the bulbs.

It may not be illegal where he is at..
To get to the bulbs you have to take off the panel on the inside of the hatch to get to them, be carefull not to break any of the plastic connectors

Just don't _____ about cops being asses for pulling you over for "no reason." I never really understood the point in exterior lighting besides retro HIDs. If you really want it like that, pick up some LEDs so at least its bright enough to light up the plate.

I have Blue LED lighting for my tag light and I have never been pulled over for it. I have been pretty much from VA to TX, and Never had a cop say a word about it.
