We've all been on road trips before! Give us your top 10 road trip rules. What do you absolutely not do on a road trip? What do you absolutely have to do on a road trip?

1) Do take a lot of pictures.
2) Do go out of the way to find something totally random.
3) Do make sure you have plenty of gas.
4) Do have a kick ___ time.
5) Do bring water/drinks.
6) Do bring a map/gps if you get lost.
7) Do bring along good company.
Do take some good driving music.
9) Do plan a good trip
10) Don't expect everything to go as planned.

I just wrote mine up:


Do:
1. Must have radar detector
2. Must have GPS or mapquest directions
3. Enough gas money for the ENTIRE trip
4. Make sure to have current registration, insurance, and driver's license IN the car before you leave.
5. Cds/ipod songs for the trip
6. Entertainment for your passengers: dvd player, roadtrip games, Scion rubix cubes, lol
7. Always offer to drive or have someone else drive when you are sleepy.
8. Please, put your smelly shoes back on!
9. Emergency kit, including flash light, jumper cables, fire extinguisher, napkins, and band-aids
10. Coffee or energy drinks are a MUST!



Don't:
1. Forget your wallet
2. Pick up hitchhikers
3. ____ off truck drivers
4. Pass gas with the windows rolled up
5. Never drive if you are sleepy
6. Have objects obstructing your view or loose items that are sharp or hard, if you crash you will be sorry!
7. Don't drive unless everyone is wearing their seat belt
8. Don't roll the window down near a dairy farm
9. DON'T LITTER!
10. Don't try to save time by taking the back roads in unfamiliar places
