ive got the polished SR and its gread, goes real well with a Strup V2 axle back.

with the short ram id go with the polished because its not realy that noticable to begin with and if you go with the black it would be almost invisable. just my opinion.

VIP- hey man thanks for the links, that's exactly what I was looking for...black looks nice.

Swartz- Good point..., I thought about that.. hard decision, I almost like the potential blend-in, stealth look of it as well...but polished looks awesome too.. ugh.. lol
Which, by the way I saw your drive by vid, I like the sound of that strup! have a header?

oh, i didn't think about a stealth setup.
im more into looks, besides if someone is serious about HP the xB is the wrong car to start with.

no...... i don't have a header, just the axle back and the SR intake.
i like it because it sounds deep.
i don't like the high pitched raspy sound like a bee stuck in a tin can.

sweet, yeah I was asking about the header because I agree it does sound deep and nice, I like it! So if you did have one I'de ask which one to consider the same setup. Good call on posting that vid.

I also hate the bee in a can/fart can sound so I'm trying to stay away with anything that will give me that.

None of this is for HP, just for better air flow, sound, maybe better gas mileage etc. I have a 5.0 in my garage if i want hp and to go fast :D

haha, nice that's pretty funny! yeah i'm not a huge ford fan except for the foxbody stang. Mine's an 88' 5.0 GT hatch, MAF conv, 347 Stroker, BBK headers, X-pipe, pro-5.0 short shifter, a/c bypass, 4.10 rear, 10.5 compression, mufflers dump onto ground right before axle, etc...
I love that car, the sound alone is... well, I can't even explain. I would show you a pic but I have no idea how to do it on here, you can't upload them, never done it any other way..

btw i'm sooo going with the strup... why does it have to be so $$ lol
