That's only about 11% HP and 7% (!) torque driveline loss on that dyno sheet. That's pretty damn good if you ask me. Also, Toyota is very modest about power ratings, and usually the cars make more power than they say they do. Either way, 150 lb/ft to the wheels? I'll take it!

I wonder if dyno conditions can be manipulated to increase hp numbers.

I dont really doubt the #'s. I have been in ALOT of tC's. I delivered one today that was way faster than any other tC so far. Sometimes you just get a freak from the factory :D

It's the dyno for 05 Scion Tc. I am just getting a little mixed up b/c I have seen a few diffrent dyno's. The one in superstreet showed 138hp and 148ftlbs of tq and now this one I found online. At least these dyno's are consistant.

not sure. I wouldn't think it would matter and if it does I would be lead to belive the 5speed would dyno better than the auto.

The difference in dyno results between Auto and 5spd makes a significant difference.

there isn't a big difference if any. usually with auto there is slightly more power lost b/c of the torque converter, but it's not too significant. I would say that the auto and manual would most likely punch out the same amount of power to the wheels. But it's a whole other story on the 0 to 60 times.

If they can be made to increase hp numbers than I am sure they can be made to decrease hp numbers also!

dyno systems are like fingerprints. they're never the same.

one person might get 143, one might get 138. it's still the same car.

FYI: manual and automatic can sometimes be a big difference. In this case, an extra 5-10hp is a big difference since we arent talking about much stock power anyway. . . . but anyway... the transmission does make a difference.
