Default LED help

My left front amber light went out today and the little light in that headlight isn't working. When I turn my park lights on, it turned on only the right front bulb inside the headlight and the amber light on the left. It's like the wiring was switched around and I don't see how that happened.

I was thinking of just replacing the halogen amber bulb, but i wanted some cool blue LEDs in the headlights. I'm a bit confused on what you have to do to convert to LED.
Any help is appreciated. I might have to just go all LED but I really don't want to have to put too much money into this. Also what is wrong with those lights being switched?

I'm in Texas and I always have my headlights on, are they going to be as noticeable? Also will the LEDs melt?

Anyone have an idea of why the opposite light is turning on. Like when the amber is supposed to be off, it is actually on.
