View Full Version : Does anyone have driving lights on their car yet?
TrickBend 10-26-2008, 06:16 PM I was thinking about putting driving lights where the fogs would go. I would either put em flush like the fog lights (so i would cut the bottom grill), or i would put them behind the bottom grill so you couldn't really see them until they were turned on. I was wondering if anyone had done either of these ideas. If so pics please.
purrkee 10-29-2008, 02:04 AM I,am thinking about trying the TC grill, fog light kit.The grill shape is the same as the xb.
I don,t know if it will be a perfect match.
RoundBox 10-30-2008, 03:42 AM I put in some Hella fogs from Super Autobacs, used all the factory wiring and cut the grill so they would fit, check it out:

I think it came out pretty good
TrickBend 11-01-2008, 05:58 PM that does look good. thanks for the pic. now that i know it can be done ill try it.
RoundBox 11-02-2008, 06:17 AM It was worth doing and much cheaper then the factory fogs (like only $80). If I did it again I would remove the bumper as it would have saved so much time when finding the factory mounting holes for lights. Now if I can only get an OEM switch...

RoundBox 11-02-2008, 03:28 PM Dang I guess I should have read the whole page LOL I wonder if it's because it won't fit the mounting hole or if it's because of the wiring. If it's wiring it would still work for me. I may have to send an email asking them

That switch is about 1/8" taller than the hole.
