Default aem twinfire edit help

edit after dealing with the issue at the shop it is now a few days later and i threw a cel for random cylinder misfire and intake cam over advance does anyone know how to tell if this is a sensor ishue or am i gona have to pull the head are the cams damaged ahhh help

i recently purchased an aem twinfire when i brought it to a local Toyota certified tec he not only failed to install it but also destroyed my coils in the process. i have 2 questions is it possible to install this system on our engine. the second question is what should i do about the shop i only have to pay for new coils but i still feal that this is unfair what should i do

call customer experiance and file a complaint with them.

I'm not familiar with the system, but if the dealer damaged your car while installing, they are responsible for it.

If you don't get anywhere with the dealer, call Scion corporate; they will work with you.

thanks for the help i did a little research and to install this system you need to get aftermarket 3 wire ignition coils and do crazy wiring i guess no multispark system will work with our original coils . as for the shop i paid nothing for labor and half of the cost of the coils but my car was still out of commission for a day and a half while they re wired my ignition i have nasty electrical tape all over the wires on top of my engine that im afraid im going to melt its prity ____y so i guess il call Toyota or something like you guys said thanks again

sorry to hear you have this problom. if you would have called AEM they would have told you that the CDI would have not worked for you. their is no ignition system that will work with the stock coils.
