ok so....
alright.... my car has been hit.... 3 times now.... im sure you can find all of my posts about it scattered in the archieves of this site. now my real question here, is why am i paying thousands of dollars out the ___ for insurance, when in situations like this, im told its pointless to go through it. basically i have around 1500-2000 dollars in damage to my car. my parents are going a-wall because i want to claim it as insurance and just pay the 500 deductible. why would this be such a big deal.... they flip everytime i bring it up. i work my ___ off to pay the damn car payments and insurance. so am i basically paying 5500 a year so if i total my car im overed. is that about what it comes down to?
probably... because your young, your insurance is high, and they are ____ed you already got hit 3 times (even if they know it wasnt your fault). Not claiming it and just paying the 2k for damages might save money rather than claim it and have your insurance go up even more. You will pay more in the long run if you claim smaller amounts on your insurance (or so Ive been told) I'm no insurance expert but I'm sure that someone here could help ya out a bit more.
First of all if you're paying the insurance your parents don't have a lot to say about what you do. Obviously this accident was your fault or the other persons insurance would be taking care of it, so I understand why they are ____ed off. Unless of course the other party was uninsured.
Let me get this straight. You are paying 5500 a year in insurance for a Tc. I understand why it's so high given your accidents. What I don't understand is why you don't get rid of the car and get something reasonably affordable. Is the Tc really your dream car. Come on. With insurance and car payments you are paying what, like 750 dollars a month. That's nuts for a Tc. Just go get an old Corolla or Civic that will last 300k miles and wait until you are out on your own to get a nicer car. By then maybe you're insurance situation will have improved along with your luck or driving skills. Whichever of the two is responsible for the accidents

My car just got hit(only 600 mi on the car)....by my own Father. He backed into it while pulling out of the driveway. ("i didn't see it") Front right fender looks like it might be able to be popped out along with a deep scratch on the bumper.
Obviously we aren't going through insurance unless it's some amazing amount of damage. Plus it would look a little odd to the ins company given the fact we have the exact same name. On a Sidenote: Any idea how much this is going to set me back?
