So it was fun while it lasted...but like all good things the panda has come to an end.

What killed the panda you might ask, a freak boost spike of 28 psi...

dont know what happend, it felt so good that day too, raced my buddys wrx and smashed him (his is mostly stock)

When i let off the gas the front end dropped hardcore, then the smoke came, my box looks like something out of dick tracey or something lol

i have oil in the intercooler...thats basically all it is, oil in the intercooler and it smokes like a freight train

everything sounds right, nothing sounds broken or blown...does anyone know what this is, is this something in the head or something worse.

Hell, I didn't even know you were boosted. Are you sure you didn't just blow a charge pipe?

 

yeah, it was top secret, i started on it right after scrapin the coast, thats why i've been gone for a while...i've been boosted for about 2 months now. I'm hoping i just bent a valve or something simple like that. i can deal with the head, but with the boost spiking that high scares me that i might have toasted my rings.

 

Did you not have a wastegate in there? The wastegate should've opened before it overboosted.

 

yep^^^^ gotta pull the top end off and start looking....
oil in antifreeze usually means blown head gasket and maybe more ..cracked head or warped head also...

 

dang son. I hope it is not dead.
I was looking forward to seeing in it and hopefully ride in it in June.
