anyone have experience with them to give me a idea on what kind to buy i would like one that has the key fob that shows the status of your car and alarm

any sugestions please

viper 5900, i have it on my xD gives me 1/2 range on avg. and if u hook it up right it will status everything. i think they still have it on www.millionbuy.com pretty cheap. u can best buy it too install included except u need part # 556u/556uw and an extra key to duplicate the start

I agree the Viper 5900 is a nice one, thats what I have as well.

He will not need the extra part or the extra key, the first gen xB does not have a chip in the key like the xD,tC,and 2nd gen xB has.

hopefully u have an auto cz i've heard stories of ppl w/ auto starters that drive stick accidentally starting their cars just to see it hit the car parked in front of them or someone messes w/ their keys and their car runs over a fence

Directed's new alarm, http://www.viper.com/P-5202V/Viper+R...e+Start+System is set up now for standard trans and remote start. You have to do a special order of stuff before you cut the car off, if not it will not remote start. Its pretty cool.

I have excalibur model al-2000-edp
for almost two years withpout no problem
easy hook up and has a lot of xtras

I have one and its great. I love it because during the winter I can start the car and have it warm for my son.
I have no idea whitch one I have but I love it.

Just picked it up brand new on eBay for under $250 and cant wait to install it!
