yes! you know how hard it is to find people that like hockey! ive played street hockey ever since i was 5 then played ice hockey on leagues pretty much year round from 11 -16 moved away, and couldnt play and now every once in a while i will hit up a drop in, seriously i have only 1 friend that loves hockey the way i do, hockey is the least appreciated sport and it really needs to get recognized because it is seriously the best sport to watch and play on earth,, people are just idiots and would rather watch some wuss play with a basket ball go up and down a court and get paid $50,000 for every quarter played vs. a hockey player smashing someone's face in for barely any money.

jeeze ive been holding that it sorry bout that

yeah no money

50k a quarter. keep in mind that According to The Globe and Mail, Daniel Briere, Scott Gomez, and Thomas Vanek each made $10 million in 2007/2008 among others in the league

thats cool youre expressing your opinion for the love of hockey but theres no need to bash other peoples sports

cause like you said hockey is one of the least recognized sports so by making that comment your probably angering more people than pleasing them

dont call people who like to watch a sweet dunk idiots
show a little more respect

haha yeah yeah true true, i did get out of line there, i mean i do really love sports in general i always watch basketball football every once in a while some lacross and baseball , a lot of people go... " man turn the channel hockey is ___" Thats when i say lets go back to watching the sonics lose while my penguins are winning. that sorta deal sorry if i offended anyone. like i said dont get me wrong, i love sports, but i have a crazy passion for hockey, and hockey is one of those sports that you see old guys out there on the ice and you actually try to avoid them, rather than go easy on them, for some reason i have found out that any hockey player over the age of 50 has crazy old man strength and the ones that have been playing since they could walk are and are now in there 60 's are UNREAL!

by the way the original post did say hockey not football, i was thinking when i re read "oh god flame on mo fo's!"

nah its cool man
it just came off a little harsh

i dont disrespect any sport because everyone has their own opinions on why they like that particular sport and whos to say that its stupid or otherwise
so i basically say "you like hockey, thats cool. you like gymnastics, thats cool. whatever works for you. there must be a good reason to like the sport"

no hard feelings man
im not gunna go get worked over something this small, esp. on a scion forum
haha
