Value of team-signed football?
I have a friend who's played a few years of pro football 12 years ago.
He played for the arizona cardinals for the 1994-1995 seasons. During the 1994 season, I open a christmas gift from him, and its a TEAM-signed football. Come to find out, they have a specific signing meeting where each player signs a number of footballs, and these ***** are given to the players to give to their families or friends.
It's signed by every member of the team, as well as the coach. No certificates of authenticity were provided. Black ink on a white wilson football.
After hanging onto this football for over 10 years, I'm debating selling it. I'm not a pro-football fan, and I figure that a diehard cardinals fan might really appreciate this little bit of history.
I want to get an idea of its value. Lots of ebay auctions that claim team-signed ***** only have about 20 sigs, and are done at signing sessions open to the public. Tons of ***** with 5 or less sigs are also available. How many of these are scam, i dont know.
Pics can be provided upon request, but I have no way of hosting.

I would say that it is probably not worth much....the Cardinals are not a very popular team, even in AZ If there were some signature's from big stars it might be worth something, but the only star that would have been on the Cardinals at that time would be Jake Plummer.

That's basically the response i've been getting so far.
Even the saints have a huge following in N.O., so i figure there are some diehard cardinals fans out there somewhere.
