everytime i get a new car mag i see adds for these pulstar pulse plugs and all of the mags praise them and i was just wondering if anyone out there is using them and if the hype is really all that?

I wouldn't say they are a complete waste. This morning on horsepower tv they did a dyno run on a corvette c5 and saw a 5hp gain and 10 ftlbs of torque. Given a v8 makes a much bigger difference with a good quality [lug then a 4cylinder. In my opinion I run ngk but I don't see much of a gain with spark plugs. I never have ran an xb on a dyno so I can't say that but I have ran a few bmws while working with a grand-am team and saw no significant gain between plug types

 

that might be but in a few months/thousand or so miles they go bad
