Default CF mirrors updated with more pics

So here is one of last peices I am doing on the outside for the CF.

So I took some further away shots. Drove it today for a while. They do take some getting used to for sure. I like them though. The one hard thing is the passenger mirror does not have the "closer then it appears" mirror in it. It is the same type of mirror as the driver mirror.

Sorry NL, but that's a lil' too hardcore for me. You should have just hooked up with my cf guy and had him custom wrap your existing stock side mirror caps in carbon fiber instead.

Your car is still off the hook tho!

Any pictures of it a little further away? I've never been a fan of how wide our mirrors look from the outside at certain angles. Like head on they remind me of a corgi. I think these smaller streamlined ones will draw the eye to the window lines or make the body curves pop more.

Not feeling it, the xb2 is too big/wide for those tiny mirrors.

yeah they move around alittle bit. I am sending off my factory ones to have actual CF ones made.
So I might go back to them once I get them back.

well at first glance i didn't like it too much but after looking at it more i'm starting to like it.
reason is after the post while i'm driving i've started to notice that our side mirrors is soooo huge that whenever i try to push harder on left turns the side mirrors tends to block my view to see how close i'm at to the curb/lines. thats why for a couple days now lookin at the pics i started to like it more. i only wonder how functional this part is.
how you like it so far nolimitz?
whats the difference you notice between this and stock mirrors?

Actually I like the way they look. BUT.. there is a ton of blind spots with them. With my seats and then the little mirrors it made the blind spots huge. I ended up taking them off last night and putting the stock back on for now. I might try and shorten them and see if that helps some. Not sure. But switching lanes from left to right is a crap shoot. LOL..

you should look into the granador type of side mirrors, they'll flow w/ the car much better. These some how stick out like a sore thumb. I think its the height where the mirrors sit at.

I've changed my side mirrors on previous cars and never liked them vs stock. Nice eye candy but a pita to use.... the granador is nice especially on my RHD Supra!!! most Granadors don't work too well w/ LHD cars leaving a big blindspot.

do you have a link of the granador style? I think I might try and mod these to make them closer to the car and maybe a little lower. The nice thing is there was no new holes made. I was able to use two of the factory holes to mount them in.
