We will have painted pictures on our project car and pricing soon.
lriicelboy 12-28-2004, 10:47 PM what is the point of the scoop if it doesn't even direct air into the engine bay???
PunkInDrublic 12-28-2004, 10:50 PM +19 horsepower!!
jlaznlover 12-29-2004, 12:50 AM sorry man, i don't like it. you will have a hard time trying to sell that nonfunctional hood scoop.
BigKid 12-29-2004, 04:30 AM That by far is the worst cut and paste job I have ever seen?!
I can't believe that they would actually try and market something that GOD awful...
FYI - you might wanna go back to the drawing board on this one. Cause you'll get blow outta the water with whats already out there...not to mention whats to come from other reputable companies...
tCtunerZ 12-29-2004, 05:39 AM The scoop is not our company's product, sample image that was emailed in from Viniatit Customz. We have asked for pictures on a car painted however at current time one has not been submitted. We are showing what’s available through all manufactures for the Scion tC no matter what our personal tastes may be.
ScionTCTrav 12-29-2004, 05:40 AM Its ok..But Darrell..If U want some business make a CARBON Fiber Hood Similar to the EVO one..or something with Cut outs..
tCtunerZ 12-29-2004, 05:43 AM Kaminari has a hood out currently with a similar style.
ScionTCTrav 12-29-2004, 05:44 AM yeah i know..but I kinda like that one you had on your site..but never produced..
tCtunerZ 12-29-2004, 05:45 AM Which hood are you referring to?
ScionTCTrav 12-29-2004, 05:48 AM Not sure..it had the Center Scoop and the Vents Flaring off to the sides.. Looked nice..
its_ikon 12-29-2004, 07:41 PM hot damn that is the worst thing i have seen.
Kev_the_rev 12-29-2004, 09:22 PM gross..
ScionTCTrav 12-29-2004, 11:39 PM I found this...

squirrel 12-29-2004, 11:45 PM That hood doesn't look good at all.
I guess Duwayne is mad again as my post was deleted.
Pay back Chris yet!?!
Munch 12-29-2004, 11:49 PM That dosen't look good at all :(
TOAST3R 12-29-2004, 11:53 PM the sad thing is items like this sell like crazy, just go driving around and see all the cars/trucks you see with two scoops on the hood, they are all just stick on fake scoops. i cant go a few minutes around here without seeing one, its terrible.
TeamMightyMiniz 12-30-2004, 06:32 AM hey my post was deleted too.
What gives?
I think that hood sucks. My Opinion.
For a company to carry that hood... thing... is a quick way to lower it's rating!
Wow my post was deleted too...
I guess we aren't entitled to opinions anymore.
Otocan 12-30-2004, 07:10 PM you're entitled to opinions, but outright bashing and flaming is against the rules of the board... and I'm not even a mod, or seen any deleted posts, just don't hurt peoples' feelings directly and state an unbiased opinion and I'm sure it'll stay
back on track, unless you're supposed to cut out the area beneath that so it is an actual hood scoop and directs air into the engine, it is a pointless, obviously unatractive modification that only people who know it does nothing and don't care, and stand the ridicule will purchase it
I know I'm not one of them

while at a dodge dealership today i saw this, just to prove my point, atleast they only soak the customer 199$ for it. id ask for them to be removed if i ever bought it though.

hey, cars wear toupee too
not feeling it... sorry
lriicelboy 01-01-2005, 04:19 PM i think the ones on that dodge are functional.
genuine58 01-01-2005, 05:24 PM :? , I know some will like it and some wont. These shots are just prelim pictures of an unpainted one resting on the hood. Of course there is no cut out yet....That does not mean there will not be one. Obviously you are not looking at a final product here. But I'm glad we generated a response!!LOL
genuine58 01-01-2005, 05:27 PM Although the ones who like will not post due to intimidation......
genuine58 01-01-2005, 05:30 PM hey, cars wear toupee too

What is said about a mustang? (just defending scoops in general.) I know a lot of you like stock or replacement hoods, which is coo with me.

TOAST3R 01-01-2005, 08:10 PM i think the ones on that dodge are functional.
nope they are stuck on with tape or whatever. if they were functional it would form to the hood, you wouldnt see the lines at the bottom

But they said it's a "Bolt-on", so wouldn't mean that a cut out is unlikely.

not really, many Stang owners have cut their scoops and hood to allow for ram air to flow in, those too are just bolt-ons. It is just a matter of having your shop install it the way you want it. That's all.
wrx_brad 01-02-2005, 02:57 PM i think the ones on that dodge are functional.
You're right, the ram SRT10's hood scoop does feed the intake.

See similar products on eBay for 16.99, plus s&h. Hell, bolt on--why not just slap that on with double-sided tape? And to anyone who says it's 'non-functional,' I say take a hacksaw to the factory hood, cut a hole in the scoop with a mat knife, and you're in gear! As far as appearance, how well will house paint stick to the scoop? Can you brush it on?
genuine58 01-12-2005, 04:01 PM Prices are not determined yet, and the scoop u see is not the finished product, functionality will be possible. no need for cutting the scoop. (reply to flame, bump once again lol) I think I will need some Guinness , just use my fingers and i'm in gear for this post. LOL
Kaeon 01-13-2005, 03:33 PM Thats very ugly...
