while at a dodge dealership today i saw this, just to prove my point, atleast they only soak the customer 199$ for it. id ask for them to be removed if i ever bought it though.

:? , I know some will like it and some wont. These shots are just prelim pictures of an unpainted one resting on the hood. Of course there is no cut out yet....That does not mean there will not be one. Obviously you are not looking at a final product here. But I'm glad we generated a response!!LOL

What is said about a mustang? (just defending scoops in general.) I know a lot of you like stock or replacement hoods, which is coo with me.

nope they are stuck on with tape or whatever. if they were functional it would form to the hood, you wouldnt see the lines at the bottom

But they said it's a "Bolt-on", so wouldn't mean that a cut out is unlikely.

not really, many Stang owners have cut their scoops and hood to allow for ram air to flow in, those too are just bolt-ons. It is just a matter of having your shop install it the way you want it. That's all.

You're right, the ram SRT10's hood scoop does feed the intake.

See similar products on eBay for 16.99, plus s&h. Hell, bolt on--why not just slap that on with double-sided tape? And to anyone who says it's 'non-functional,' I say take a hacksaw to the factory hood, cut a hole in the scoop with a mat knife, and you're in gear! As far as appearance, how well will house paint stick to the scoop? Can you brush it on?

Prices are not determined yet, and the scoop u see is not the finished product, functionality will be possible. no need for cutting the scoop. (reply to flame, bump once again lol) I think I will need some Guinness , just use my fingers and i'm in gear for this post. LOL
