View Full Version : HIN seattle or Portland HiroHito 01-07-2009, 09:40 PM Just got off the phone with the guy from Hot Import Nights. The said they are still making the schedule for 2009. Seattle is still up in the air or Portland. dibbz 01-07-2009, 09:54 PM portland would be nice..... ProjectGreen 01-07-2009, 11:05 PM Sweet, everyone call and tell them to take it down to Portland. It would be nice for us Southern Oregonians down here. :-) ratcityrain 01-07-2009, 11:10 PM That is true, portland doesn't get a lot of the big shows & maybe it would boost their sales.. plus i like the oregon area a lot _Doug_ 01-08-2009, 01:41 AM Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is not going to happen in Seattle or Portland :nope: Too many sponsors have backed out and no longer financially feasible. newtc4me 01-09-2009, 12:39 PM ^yep! BZinn1 01-09-2009, 02:44 PM Shame.......Portland would be a great place for it. ProjectGreen 01-09-2009, 03:26 PM Yeah it would have been, lets get our own show up and running up there. scandalous 01-09-2009, 04:38 PM Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it is not going to happen in Seattle or Portland :nope: Too many sponsors have backed out and no longer financially feasible. Actually, I spoke to my friend, Nate @ HIN, the other day and he also confirmed that they are still shooting for Seattle or Portland, just trying to get the best deal on a venue. Still up in the air, but there is a CHANCE… mattross 01-09-2009, 05:30 PM I like Portland 'cause they could possibly get both the rose garden arena and memorial coliseum which would make a huge show! Adorian 01-09-2009, 08:33 PM I think PDX would be awesome for a show! But that's because I'll be living there :) ratcityrain 01-09-2009, 10:10 PM well right now i'll count on it not happening till i see a date - isn't there one in Northern California already scheduled? MissBenilda 01-09-2009, 11:39 PM i think Seattle would be a better spot only because its a good central location for people from Oregon and for people coming from the north like Canada. But im with Shawn, until i see a date im not getting my hopes up. ratcityrain 01-09-2009, 11:54 PM I don't think it will be here 'cause the attendance has been way to low for them to have it, but I could be wrong MissBenilda 01-10-2009, 12:20 AM yea it's been hella crappy and going down the drain the last few years. if they made their prices lower they may have a bigger turnout. BZinn1 01-10-2009, 01:46 AM I know if it cost less to get in a lot more people would attend and check out all the cars......it cost less to goto a Mariners game with the family than to goto HIN last year. willlangford 01-10-2009, 04:09 AM I really doubt it will happen. HIN sucked the last few years. Having been sold, the removal of the NCCA, going to outside only events, and cutting the tour way down is making for a lot of changes. I don't think much is going to change on the schedule as much as we all want it to. |
