Default What do you guys think of Competition Clutch?

Hi guys,

What does everyone think of Competition Clutches? I'm looking at getting one as I want to replace my OEM clutch? Specifically I'm looking for quality and longevity, as I won't be putting out more than stock power on it. I'd appreciate any input. Thanks!

I am in the same boat. Can anyone provide any suggestions? I was looking into Spec clutches (Stage 1, Stage 2, or Stage 2+).

I have 134,000 miles on the original clutch and haven't done any power modifications. I just would like something better than stock/OEM and that will last another 100K+ miles.

I have a Clutch Masters FX300 Stage 3 Clutch with a Steel Back Segmented Kevlar Sprung Disc. Although it is not a competition clutch (I'm thinking you are referring to a puck type clutch), it does well for daily driving. It engages easier than the pucks do and it holds really well. I am pushing more than stock HP and I've been driving it for 60k+ miles with a ton of launches and the clutch is holding up great with no signs of wear so far. It's unfortunate that it is around $400 though for the clutch but then again I have no idea how much a stock clutch costs....

If you guys are nearby, I'm even willing to let you drive it to see how it feels, but I think we're all too far away...
