i am a proud owner of a 09 tc, as of now i have a TRD cold air intake, and a custom magnaflow exhaust, love it,doesnt sound like a ____ty ricer, etc, but lately i've had alot of interest in the " hks hi power exhaust ", i'd like to know from others and owners of this exhaust of how they like or dont like it, and where can i get it for a good price, i live in vegas.


i would also like your opinions on other exhaust as well, thank you

and if anyone knows any good aftermarket shops in vegas as well

 

I'd Stick with the Magnaflow, it's a Great Product.

 

yup, i love mine. its nothing too crazy and has a good tone. of course the peeps who have HKS will vote for HKS, and the other way around. I think you need to hear it for youself before you make your decision.

 

I Agree. I had a Magnaflow on my 2nd Gen. Eclipse, but I've heard both on the tC, and I think the Magnaflow is the best Sounding. Not too Raspy, not as Deep as something like a Borla.

 

Well for one, just pick whatever sounds best for you. If you like the magnaflow, keep it. Theres no sense spending more money on an exhaust just for a different tone. Exhaust doesnt do crap for our cars, so a different exhaust wont give you anything but a different sound.

 

true and ty for all the help, advice, and opinions, thing is i got my magnaflow for basically paying nothing if that changes up something haha, but yeah i do love it, great sound and everything, and yes ive heard the hks and it sounds like heaven in your face type of thing :D and i guess its cause i love to way it looks to me compared to mine D:

 

You can use that money you would spend on the hks and get some springs or HIDs or the like.

 

i agree. exhaust wont really make a difference unless your boosting

 

what are some good yet "cheap" springs to get?

 

I have a HKS hi-power. i like it but i hate the fact that its not straight but its crooked... so i cant even put my jp viz lip kit yet...

Depends on how much of a drop you want. And dont go for cheap springs, get quality ones.

 

yeah, but also another thing i forgot to mention, i cant drop it because of my custom exhaust, the piping makes a " U " towards to ground, so if i lower it, ill be hitting bumps and all that crap for a fact, which is pretty irritating, which was also why i was looking for another exhaust

lol hands off cant u just do a bit of cutting.. cus i was going to look at the jp route, guess not..

But i like the hks, it takes some getting used to look wise..But since u already put some money on the magnaflow just stay with it..

That's how my old exhaust was. I scraped on every speed bump, but actually diverted a lot of them except for the inevitable ones in my apartment complex.

Maybe don't go so low? Pick up some TRD springs. You don't want to cheap out with your suspension.

 

hey i live in vegas too! ummm i love my hks so much deeper and nicer sounding than my old exhaust.
