Needed to know if the TRD short shifter is worth the money or should we go with another. If i should go with another one which one?

I didn't see a listing for the XA when I was shopping for mine. I received mine Wednesday and just love it. You can swap your stock base with the crappy RS one...or you can get a TWM Performance short shifter...but it's about 3" shorter... I think the total was $142. You need to place the pivote point higher on the shifter. Doing that & lowering the height will give much better effects then just making it a shorter shift lever. chadfo 09-04-2004, 01:22 AM I went out and took pics of my TRD short shifter so you can see exactly what it looks like installed. I sat in my normal driving position so you can see what it will look like from a driving point of view.
