How to wire it? Can anyone help? thanks a lot. TheQuietThings 02-17-2009, 06:11 PM I have this navigation in my car, and im not sure theres a way to get this done. There are no extra ports in the back of the navigation to get the adapter piece connected. ChelsDS 02-17-2009, 10:11 PM It's do-able, I haven't done it yet since I don't have the money to get the adapter. You will need an adapter, which is PAC SWI-PS, runs for about $50. I have heard that there IS lag with this adapter when using the buttons on the steering wheel. I have no issue with reaching over and using my hand to change volume, mode, etc. hushpuppy0525 02-18-2009, 03:29 AM Also, does anyone know will the original ipod and AUX that came with the car will work with the AVIC-f700BT? or do I have to get the extra pioneer ipod cable for this F700BT? thanks. ChelsDS 02-18-2009, 05:24 AM You will have to get the Pioneer cable for the iPod. The stock cable and plug will NOT work anymore after installing the F700BT. If you're able, look around for B&M (Brick and Mortar) stores that are selling the unit with the cable, then go to BestBuy and have them price match it and get the cable thrown in. Thats what I did :) |
