Nope not the ECU, I installed my GReddy FATT before they came out with a wiring harness and what you do is splice into the wires on the ignition cylinder lock (aka where you put your key) Ill take some pics tomorrow and show you the exact wires to splice into. Make sure you either have shrink wrap or solder to do this you DO NOT want these wires coming loose. I estimate about an hour to an hour and a half for install
red out of timer red in ign harness 12v
grn out of timer blue in ign harness Ignition1
blu out of timer gray in ign harness Acc
Blk out of timer goes to chassis ground
Gry out of timer goes to black at ebrake
wht is for O2 sensor... not needed and most likely wont work...

yeah, the tC will not allow you to lock the doors then close them after exiting while the engine is running. It's like a safety feature to keep ppl from locking themselves out of their running car.
I think you can manually lock them with it still runing on the timer,not sure why it would not let you cause I can do it with my car running,no turbo timer,but car is running and can manually lock it.
