2 HID kits (HL & FOGS) - Fogs wont work.
I've had 6000k HID's in my headlights for about 2 years in my car - never an issue. Last week I finally buy and install my VRD fogs along with a 3000k HID kit. The first night it lit up fine but after that I had to start my car in order to get both Headlights and fogs running. And now 3 days later fogs flicker for a few seconds then turn off - or just wont turn on at all.
Any one else running dual HID kits experience this problem. What I'm concerned with is if it's my battery. If it is I just might upgrade - maybe an optima.
FYI: I've had her since Mile 1 on May 28, 2006. She now has 50,000 miles and on the OEM battery.

Oh me, oh my. My problem is most likely worse than I thought. I reverted back to the stock h3 bulbs and the problem persists. Now the fogs come one during idle but turn off as soon as I engage the cluth in first gear. If i'm driving and release the accelerator the fogs come on but turn off as soon as I give it gas. I've had the car for all of it's 50K miles and didn't use the stock relay before. Could it have been damaged or semi fried? If I can't diagnose the problem I'll try bypassing the relay with an after market wire kit connected directly to the wire. Hopefully that works.
Does anything else in the car dim out when you step on the gas? If so, it could be your alternator that's going. That's a weird situation though because if it's the alternator then everything else should be going out too...
