is that the kenwood with the garmin navi? if so i'd go with it.. the pioneer is too slow even with the hacks/updates.. just my opinion.. i'm sure there's a lot that'll say pioneer

go kenwood I have a Avic-z1 and you cant hack the dang thing to use the navi while driving. My dad just bought a kenwood for his new truck and that was possible.

As far as the GPS part of things, Kenwood all the way. Garmin is the best Nav system, hands down.

I'd say kenwood but I would wait a little for the dnx-9140 it'll still have the garmin navi but parrot will already be integrated same size screen almost same look too. 1700 is a little overpriced imo especially when you can look around and get the dnx-8120 for 1200 tops the added options like the bluetooth, ipod cables and pac swi jack to make the steering controls work will only run 150 max install on that thing is simple the only hard part is putting the gps reciever by the antenna so it looks stock.

i got the dnx 8120 and i paid 1800 for it, but i got it about a year ago, sure its a lil less now. as for the antenna, i actually mounted it in the dash and it works great. Kenwood is awesome, i just wish the screen resolution was a lil better

I had a Kenwood DNX7100 in my xD and picture quality was pretty much crystal clear. Definitely go with the Kenwood.

Don't get me wrong, it is very good, but I've seen some alpines and pioneers with more vivid and high res screens. Still very happy and I love my kenwood!

I'm planning on getting Kenwood 9140... finally decided...
I've looked at the new Pioneer Z model... it looked good visually, but functionality wise.. I think 9140 is better...
