About the best i've seen NA on this board was around 200 to the wheels.

For the amount of money you'll spend for that, might as well just go supercharged or turbo'd.

kinda a hard question to ask since not alot of people do an n/a build since you would get so much more from a turbo at that rate.

but if you did intake, exhaust, pulleys, port and polish, cams, high compression pistons, displacement increase, tune, you would make over 200 whp...but still fall short of well...alot of things...

well dude, it isn't a v8, it isn't a high revving racing engine. it is a 2.4 liter solid work horse engine.

a 6.2 liter v8 engine from corvette makes 430 bhp. thats an engine nearly 3 times the size with twice the number of cylinders.

toyotas 3.5 liter v6 engine in the lexus is350 makes 300 bhp.

now what do you expect to make on this engine naturally aspirated? even if you made 100 bhp per liter, which is a great power to displacement ratio, you would only make 240 bhp, which would around 200 whp. but that would take alot of expensive engine overhauling.
