when i got my HIDs i noticed there being a lot of dust trapped inside the headlights. whats the easiest way to clean it?

i was thinking about taking it off and pouring some rubbing alcohol and washing it.

You could try just blowing into it with some compressed air. I don't think I'd bother with one of those cans you get at Walmart or anything - you'd need an actual compressor hose.

what about a can of electronics cleaner? the air in the can? but its like 2-3 bucks a can last i checked.

Compressed air in a can is not strong enough. Best bet would be to put distilled water and shake that thang up!

dude....good idea.... and not only for no water spots....but distilled water is safe on electronics.... as long as the part is not "on" at the time and you let it dry completely before allowing electricity back through the part.

i'll stick with the rubbing alcohol...i use that stuff a lot.

i tried the compressed air in the can but i have to take the whole thing out...also i tried sticking the can in but no room. also if u turn the can upside down u'll get the cold stuff...gets icy..
