Default Places locally for a new CF hood? Or used?

Been looking for a CF hood because my hood is riddled with rock chips, plus it'll match better with the rest of the CF I got.

So far the only place i've seen local (sort of) is Vivid and they got seibon hoods, but I was looking for less of a drive to get it.

If anyone knows a more local place I can get a nice one at, let me know. Or if anyone is selling or knows someone selling a CF hood for a tC, that'll be great too.

Thanks guys/gals

have you tried nurspec.com yet? they located here in AZ, they probably have on of the coolest customer service i have ever dealt with. and gosh dont try Versus at all, worst customer service ever. iv dealt with vivid before though, Great customer service and you get a tour of the facility and get to check out that GTR they have there lol.

Crispy, i'll spend what it's worth. Thinking $300 for a mint one

tCaZ, got any pics of the hood and/or of the scratches? Not really looking to FIX anything, if I can polish it out I may go for it

blacktrd, I haven't tried nurspec but I have heard about them, i'm just making sure I cover all bases on buying a used mint one rather than buying a brand new one, haha

marx, is this the one you mean?

I already emailed him. I'm not a HUGE fan of the style, but it is growing on me. Probably will look good with the mesh painted black.

yeah thats the one...you can prolly swap out the mesh with like a clear lense so people can see parts of your engine bay.

I offered him $225 and he took it. Should've offered $200, but eh.

I bought it, it's in real good condition but the fitment wasn't pure bolt-on. It needed one 5mm (guessing, i'd say it's 5mm) spacer/washer for the top bolt on the passenger side.

But for the money I paid and the shape it's in, I can't complain. I like the look of the hood too. I already took the grills out and it helps 100% with the look of it. Painting them black tomorrow. Then i'm going to work on something a little more unique this weekend.

I'd still rather have the kami reverse cowl but this will do for now
