ELGIN, Ill. – He freely admitted that his dream car is a red Nissan Altima with a push-button ignition. A 21-year-old man was charged Monday with burglary and attempted theft for allegedly trying to steal one from a Nissan auto dealership. Police said the man saw the car on the showroom floor around midnight on Sunday.

Police said he broke in and started the car, but couldn't find a way to get it out of the building. Police said he then broke a showroom window, but was unable to maneuver the auto out the building.

He was discovered a short time later by police, who arrested him.

Since he's already inside, he should have drove a different car through the window, then gone back inside and driven off in the red Altima with the push-button starter.

 

Not everyone can get a Versa.. Some settle for Altima's
