You think that this is asinine ?? you otta go investigate all the restrictions that California CARB has put on the trucking industry.. truckers are now refusing to enter the state due to their over kill.. We can't even idle our engines for A/C comfort even if we are in the sleeper berth trying to take our required sleep . even if it is 110+ deg. outside... they state: NO IDLE! NO EXCEPTIONS!!!!

Sooooo, they want to ban dark colored cars becasue they supposidly "get hotter" than lighter colored cars and you'll have to run the a/c more. Well if they're going to go out on a limb and state that, than limo tint should now become legal....including the front windsheild. Dark tint means less sunlight heating up the cabin, less time running the a/c.
