Default xA Radio question

I have a 04 xA with a factory 6 cd changer. I took out the radio yesterday to see and noticed there were 2 open slots, one 12 pin and one 20 pin. I dont know much about car radios. If I got a ipod integration kit, could i plug it into one of those slots. Will it screw up the cd player? Thanks for any help.

The iPod integration kits will come with a harness that will plug into the wiring harness. IIRC, it will take control of the 6th disc, where you will control the iPod.

However, these solutions aren't really ideal, considering the fact that you can get a decent headunit that has a dedicated iPod input with controls built in. You could easily pick up a new headunit for very little money and not only gain better iPod integration but also improved sound.

04 didn't have iPod/Aux or Steering controls, so they have to be Satellite Radio and the Bazooka
