Okay so me and my brother has been swapping a 2zz-ge into a MR2 spyder and we're gonna be running an Apexi Power FC for tuning, so my brother searched around for a local shop to see if they would help me load a map onto the PFC. So he went to this place called Sky Performance they are super jerk offs. He went there to see if he could get a map loaded in his Celica Gts and they said no. its not possible on a pfc, it must be manually entered. BS. saying they didn't know how to tune it because it was in Japanese (manual is Japanese but not the program). then they started talking trash about how the 2zz couldnt make good power. even with a turbo or S/c it didn't make more than 40 hp. then i asked him if he could tune my 2zz spyder (not really letting him tune it of course) and he said why would i swap a mr2 spyder? those cars have horrible handling.... i wouldn't suggest anyone to go there. they are very biased. All they did was talk trash about Toyotas, They just kept going on about how much better Hondas are. I'm just warning anyone near NYC. Maybe if you had a Honda they'd be more helpful.

 

Toyota has made some of the nicest cars, The Toyota Cressida!!!!most people would not expect the car to be fast but it is. MR2's are really nice cars looks like someone is jealous cause their cars aren't as nice.

 

lol my bro said they had nice cars siting outside their shop, but they were dicks and started asking my bro to race their cars too. they were all boosted and my bros celica just has intake, and header. it wasn't very professional, trash talking customers cars and asking them to race?

 

i think it all comes down to preference. all different cars have pros and cons. it was very rude of them to talk like that. they should know better if they consider themselves to be professionals.

Sorry for the bump, but since this came up on Google search I must give a little warning about OP.

I own a BMW and they seemed to be a little unfamiliar with the car but basic mechanical and communication skills were top notch. Owner is a humble guy and I doubt he would make fun of an engine.

Furthermore I know several people who went there for tuning/electrical and everybody praised the work. From my understanding they do amazing electrical work.
