View Full Version : Show me your shift knobs!
Fahrenheit 01-12-2005, 08:24 PM Obviously the stock shift knobs (auto and manual) leave something to be desired. Who's got the Scion-available ones? Who's got others? I'd love to see some pics to help decide how they actually look outside of a computer simulation on scion.com.

Rivulent 01-12-2005, 09:24 PM I have that obx knob as well. Very well made, especially for the price. Although in a few months I'm going to screw on my stock one - metal gets hot in florida! Go figure.

i have the creative compact shifter...the knob that it came with in the package was sh!t, so i bought this greddy knob to replace it and have been very happy with it.
i was tempted to buy this weighted Razo knob,

suppose to be over 1lb, but doesn't look very comfortable
stl_tc_king 01-17-2006, 12:56 AM i like that Razo.

I remember reading somewhere that you can flip the chrome ring thats connected to the boot so it sits upside down. It's supposed to be longer so you can reduce that gap. I'm gonna try this when i install my knob and cc shifter on saturday. If that doesn't so it then just use a plastic tube maybe 3/4 inch long as a spacer under the boot

ICrazyChrisI 01-26-2006, 08:36 AM I was just curious, does anyone know the 'size' that the knob is supposed to be? I've been looking thru numerous sites and some of their shifters are in sizes m8x1.25 / m10x1.25 / m10x1.5 / m12x1.25. Any ideas??
