not to jack the thread, but does anyone think that the manual boot will fit on an auto, just to cover that ugly little area? lol

I had the OBX classic leather shift **** on my auto tC... but sold it on ebay here is what it looked like:

I just installed a new OBX Speedstar shift **** with the metal mesh accent.. it looks hotttttttt

I remember reading somewhere that you can flip the chrome ring thats connected to the boot so it sits upside down. It's supposed to be longer so you can reduce that gap. I'm gonna try this when i install my **** and cc shifter on saturday. If that doesn't so it then just use a plastic tube maybe 3/4 inch long as a spacer under the boot

I like the way th stock one looks and feels i just filled the 12345r on top with white paint and it looks pretty good. id post a pic but i dont know how. isnt it (img scr="blablabla") or somethinglike that < not (. its been awile since computer class
