Long story short, I estimated my distance wrong to another parked car (had to squeeze through, one car was double parked) and I broke off my mirror cover. Other car was fine, but my cover is cracked, besides buying a whole entire passenger side mirror, is there a way to get a mirror cover?

I've heard that you can only buy the whole mirror assembly.

if the cover is crack then you have to either fix it or replace it then only thing you coould replace would be the glass itself..unless you find a used one at a junk yard

 

which side? driver or passenger?

if its the drivers side i have a cover from when someone took my mirror off! lol its painted azure pearl so i dont know how much good it will do you, let me know, its been gathering dust for 2 years, i would let it go for cheap!

 

I seriously think you need glasses. Didn't you crunch your exhaust tip? (Can't remember for sure.)
Anyways, you can only get the whole assembly. As stated earlier, try junkyards.

I almost crushed my exhaust at school, they have these like 6 inch high borders that go around these grass areas. I backed up and heard a grinding sound, I almost cried but I just made it over it and everything was fine.

 

any body know a good site or place other then the junkyard to get the entire drivers side mirror replaced? My girl swung by my work and showed me what happened to her mirror..someone side swiped her mirror while she was at work. Everything works fine but the assembly just hangs there because the thing that holds it up is broken.

just FYI, when i replaced the mirror, i had to hammer the metal where the mirror is mounted to because the metal was pushed outward, from the force of the mirror being ripped off

yeah, unfortunately the base (unpainted black part) was broken in half and i had to buy the whole thing, i paid the full 200 unlike sparks which has it for 150 or so, but this was close to 2 years ago

foldable mirrors would take care of incidents like these, lol

haha maybe but this is a tC..the best of the scions, not the xB :D so people would probably keep things that were meant to be on the car..unlike xBs where everything is swapped out.
