Default Give me your opinion?

What is the best sounding exhaust, I like the ricer sound but what are your opinions on the best sounding exhaust I could put on my 06'?

I'd anticipate a lot of people saying Strup. That exhaust has reached near cult status for the box.

Out of all the exhausts I've heard, I like Strup with the Weapon-R 4-2-1. It doesn't sound like hard core rice... it's a lower note. FWIW, the car also had an AEM CAI on it.

I have to agree, but the exhaust headers also make a huge difference in the final note. The Greddy full catback setup is decent... but the note has more rasp to it than I like, possible this could be changed by changing out the headers. I checked out two different Strup setups side by side... one sounded huffy, the other sounded mean (weapon-r headers).

I had a Weapon R Exhaust system on my cougar before I bought my XB and I loved the sound... What are the prices on the Strup exhaust and the Weapon R Header?

yea me too but sometimes it gets annoying....

bascially get a header 4-2-1 generally are louder then the 4-1 due to the design but it depends on the manufacture...

get a downpipe delete the second cat but have like a 12 inch or 18 inch resanator cause without it ill be super loud ill stil have the rasp cause no cats get a nice angled canister not sure what companys makes them for the xb my buddy had a custom exhasut done cause he wanted a certain down he like the farting sound but doesnt like the rasp
