Well since the beginning of this s/c fiasco we have been wondering who made what and why our s/c's suck. The 05/06's look to be the ones having problems as I haven't seen any posts on the 07+ s/c problems. I talked back and forth with jamie805 who is a manager at Vortech who has just recently started posting here and the main thing I asked him was which parts of the supercharger Vortech was responsible for, here is the answer i got.

This makes more sense and places the blame of crappy 05/06 shafts on TRD and whoever they used as their third party supplier for the shafts. Usually hear good things about Vortech so I hope this clarifies things a bit. Would have been nice to know this info all along.

All hope is not lost though as the custom s/c shafts I make are almost ready and after running mine hard for the last few months I think this was the problem with the s/c's and the new shaft will finally be a fix!
