Does your car makes like a whirring/chirping sound?

Like when you dont accelerating and just let your rpm drop from..say 4000 rpm, does it make like a high pitch noise from under the hood?

well not JUST for Injen CAI's for the tC....they are kinda famous for getting that sound especially during acceleration...its the additional airflow sucking into the intake pipe through the filter. It is perfectly normal to get that sound...even the higher pitched "whistling" sound. It's designed that way.
It's a little bit larger diameter pipe than stock...but also much better in design for optimum airflow into the intake manifold.

You got to it before I can modify it.

The sound does not come from anywhere near the intake (right side of the bay) I hear the noise from the left, near the exhaust manifold and the pulley area.

So if I do put back the stock box the it would sound "normal" right? I'm honestly just too lazy to test it cause I still want my intake lol

Not exactly pulley, but for sure its more on the that side of the engine, I can hear it well even when I'm in the car, but when I try to search for it its really hard to pin point where its from exactly cause the noise is covered by something...the pulley seems fine.
