Factory LED lights went out
I have the factory LED rear tail/brake lights. The right rear brake light went out. I called a Toyota dealer to find out how much for a replacement. You have to replace the whole assembly at $370.00 (parts only).....OUCH!!!!!! I can buy a whole set of aftermarket lights for cheaper than that...I'm bummed.. guess I'll be shopping for taillights.
id see if you can find out what whent wrong and see if its covered under worrenty first. LEDs dont just burn out real easy, and never all of them at once.
then if all that fails go with some custom oznium stuff

The OEM TYC taillights have been prone to do this. Do a little search using the forum's search function. There's 2 to my knowledge.
But mine went out, too. I took the taillights, along with my receipt, to my local dealer. I purchased my tails from Carson Toyota in California, but my local dealer still hooked me up with a new set.
It's LAME as hell, in my opinion. Something branded as OEM should last a whole lot longer than 9 months (it was 9 months in my case). I would've been bummed if I had to purchase an entire new set. I probably would've thrown the originals in there and called it a day.

Yea, I wish they were still under warranty but I put a lot of miles on my scion. I bought it in Jan 08 and I already have 35,000 miles. So I'm pretty sure they are not still under warranty but I'll check. It just sux that they went out so quickly. I guess I gotta ask the wife for some new aftermarket ones for Christmas.
LOL hehehe
your bumper to bumper is 3year/36k, and your taillights shouldn't be effected by your mileage unless you drive with your lights on 24/7 while holding down the brake pedal slightly to light up the brake lights.
just go back and have it fixed, should be under warranty, if they don't, call scion corporate, they usually make it right.
