hey all...for anyone who is wondering...tctunerz is horrible! i have been sending them countless emails to see what is the progress of a part i ordered and they have yet to respond to them. then i called my credit card company and they have yet to even charge me for it. these people suck a nut. i ordered it on jan 4th and it is now the 17th and I have yet to even recieve any kind of notification of where this part is. dont trust them at all. scam artists, the lot of them. just a little info so no one else gets burned. peace

It sucks waiting for a response from some of the sites out there, but I dont know if I would call them a scam, look on the bright side they didnt charge your credit card anything. IMO they would be a scam if they charged you and ignored your emails. Just my 2 cents

ok, so lets look at it this way.... you went on their site and ordered part, just like 65,000 other people. They are a small company so it probably takes them awhile to process orders, being that they have a huge response to some of their parts obviously if it caught ur attention. Itss been 10 buisness days if that. I wouldnt go slandering a company and telling people they scammed you if they havent. they didnt charge you, didnt tell you they were shipping the part or even received the order. so they have done nothing wrong. They simply have not gotten around to order number 23,569 out of countless more. Im not saying that they have fanatical customer service, but they certainly arent scamming you.

while they might be backed up, if i send you something one day and you dont respond to it by the 10th day, theres something wrong....i mean if they got no time to get to my order, y would i do business with them, plus if they cant get to my order, they need sum more people working over there...look i firmly believe that stores or any place of commerce should cater to their customers wishes...maybe i am from a different school of though that the customer is always right and ____ing the customer off is a sure way to keep from making any money in a business

i ordered from tctunerz on december 27 and its the 17 of january and it still has not shipped but he has called me and let me know that what i ordered could take 2-3 weeks because k&n had to ship them more intakes....only thing is he took my money like a day later....i wish he hadn't but at least he talks to me.....i wouldn't call him a scam ....when i get my order ill let yall know

Tctunerz is a backyard operation. You can erase all thoughts of a real "business" type operation coming from those guys.

He didnt scam you, because he did not charge your card. QUIT CRYING.

yeah, thats definitely not how you do business... charged or not, customers deserve to be notified

its like going to lowes and asking for help to put down an item from the rack and getting ignored for hours or something.

Oh well, i was going to order stuff from them but not anymore...

SO long as he hasn't taken your money, you have the upper hand. If you dislike his buisiness methods, let him know by calling directly, or even cancel the order and buy from someone else. (call you card company and make sure they dont accept any charges if you cancel) I had I little problem with Hopupracing.com and I canceled the order even though I have been satified with previous orders from them.

i already notified my credit card company of this fiasco so they know not to accept any charges but im just ____ed about the lack of customer support....i mean cmon people...u need happy customers to thrive in business...and i aint crying son...im warning you people so no one has to deal with this crap...if you want to be rude about it then KEEP YOUR FREAKIN OPINION TO URSELF!!...i didnt ask for ur sympathy or anything...since u voiced ur opinion allow me to voice mine....u r a punk who is angry that u got the ice cream truck instead of a TC....ha ha ha....i think u gotta make ur runs for the kiddies so they can get their choco taco's

i dont think they're scam artists. a lot of companies sometimes lose the order or something so they don't even have your contact information to begin with; i kinda had the same problem like urs with companies like dell, and i don't think dell is a company full of scammers. sites make mistakes, and it sucks that you were the recieving end of one.

Well I sell stuffs over the web and I would never do taht to any of my customers. IF they cant handle orders or even respond to emails may they should even be in bussiness. I meen if they are back ordered on the part a call or email would have prevented this problem.

Well that why I love the web and these forums, it keeps businesses in check or else the web will speak for them and give them a bad rep!

I always take car of my customers..

it is not something i started. i just tell what has happened in the past and is 100% true.

although, what has happened in this thread is bad business, it is not a scam since he didn't charge the card yet (thankfully). it is just poor customer service. the other people "jumping on board" are other people that know what he has done.

I know what you are talking about, one thing that happened a year ago before sema, where he had a week to make a CF kit and didn't get it done in time, so the guy had to get a bumper and paint it.

Will, he not only ripped off someone here, but on Matrixowners.com a few years back, and one of the Mazda boards, and so on and so forth. I was on Matrixowners.com when it happened also.

So am I jumping on a bandwagon, no I'm just verifying what Sam brought to everyone's attention.

Call it what you will, a con-artist, rip-off artist, lousy business person, whatever. He's still WRONG! And some of us will continue to inform peeps about it.

almost getting scammed...read that line again....now i will say that i almost (because they did not have a chance to charge my card since i told my credit card company about this) got scammed (now i will call it a scam because what kind of operation doesn't contact its customers)...

all this is a warning to others...but you gotta start sumthin...call me what u will, it dont bother me in the slightest...y would i give a crap about what u think about me and my story...ill just these words set in and they will tell the tale of intelligence...almost getting scammed...i mean how smart can u be if u say the word and u dont know the meaning of it in a situation...i cant express how i feel monosyllabically so u could understand what i was saying, i dont speak dumb like u...almost getting scammed........

I ordered springs from tctunerz.. charged my card a few days later, got an email notification with a tracking number and recieved them shortly after. Maybe the parts you ordered aren't in stock? Phone is always better than email for when you need instant gratification... otherwise i'd just be patient since you haven't been charged.

That's quite a scam. Although I always thought scamming involved paying someone, and getting nothing. Guess you are just impatient or real sensitive :cry:

take the advice of the other people here, they're backed up and i'm sure theyre doing everything possible to get the situation taken care of. perhaps they were underprepared for the influx of business they are taking on and are trying to caught up, you cant blame a company for that.

you arent out of any money, look at the bright side.

the part is probably on backorder.
it's been my experience with a few online businesses that they don't notify you when a part is on backorder. additionally, they don't charge your card until they get the part in.
it sucks to wait for stuff, i feel you man

All I have to say is this thursday guy has been making a lot of immature comments. Yes I understand he is warning the community and thats fine. Yet he continues to onslaught this topic with name calling and etc...

To thursday: To just make a comment all you have to do is make it like you did when created the topic. You never had to reply back to anything there after. If you did all you had to say was IMO I was scammed based on customer service. If your allowed your opinion on the boards others most certainly are. So when they say you didn't get scammed by their opinion you didn't. Thats the end of it.

I dislike when communities tend to lash out at others in it when everyone is initially her for the same reasons. Having or loving a Scion.

hey man...i talked to quick the other day...we straightened everything out...also if you talk to quick, or if this is quick...i talked to my uncle about those CAI's in florida...he said he is gonna talk to his guy and see what the status is, and how man there are...ill keep you posted about any info...peace man

I must have been the only one.

my credit card WAS charged, and never got my product

soon after all my posts, the order was cancelled and the
money was refunded....

by the way, bank of america has stated no money
the $294.00 hasnt been credited back onto my account

have fun explaining this to Bank of America guys.

wow will ur still missing out on a lot of other info...quick has done a lot more than screw over that guy w/ the kit...his business wrongs have stemmed years before that. hes screwed just about every major toyota forum users. its more than just my friend chris's xB he f**ked up man. what happened w/ chris's xB was unfortunate and shouldnt have happened either.
