TRD Intake installed by dealer and check engine light on...
Happened about 3 hours after the install. Anyone know what the issue might be? Bought it brand new and it was installed by a Scion dealer as told. Yes I did make an appt to have it checked out, but I'd like any case scernario presented to them just in case. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. Oh, and it's a 2009 Scion tC...
check the rubbers probably a clamp not tight, and they may not of reset the ecu and it is freaking out, they also may of busted your MAF........sure they will find it ,and let them find it do not try to fix it,I say that cause if you do and something else goes wrong they will blame you......

well the MAF is spendy to say the least, but if it was installed wrong and was working prior to the install they need to replace it,there is no reason for one to go out on an install unless they did not disconnect the battery and even then it is rare,my money is on loose gasket between the pipes.....letting to much air in to the throttle.
this is why you do it yourself very simple to do.....they should check ot make sure everything is ok after installation.....the CAI shouldnt make the CEWL come on unless the MAF sesnor is dirty or bad or reset the bettery

Funny thing is, the light didnt come on until a day later, and at first it threw the gas cap code. cleared that, then the nxt day it tripped the one for vacuum (if i remember correctly).
