Default Info on Pioneer AVH-4100DVD?

I just read of ths pioneer on super street. Seems really good for the price, though I'm sure others out there have more experience with Pioneer products than I do.

Hows the quality?

Is it plug and play with the steering wheel controlsm IPOD and Aux?

I don't believe it's plug n play for the steering wheel controls and I know you need to buy Pioneer's iPod cable.

Should hopefully be installing one Friday into the other Scion, I can let ya know how it goes after we're done.

Ya let me know how it goes. All thats invovled and pricing?

Pics would also be great on this one

Ive got the Ipod connection stock on my xb. i dont know if the one you are doing is the same but I would like to know if you could keep the stock location and tap into it to the H/U.
Oh one last question, I would like to wire to watch dvd while moving though I dont know if you can on this one. I heard some new ones use a gyroscope

We got the HU and iPod adpater for $466 shipped from Amazon.com - cheapest we found while keeping it w/ a reputable seller.

The aftermarket HU has an iPod connection - does on my Pioneer Premier HU and the 4100DVD - purchase the cable and no worries patching things in. The actual harness is really easy to install using butt connectors, soldering, etc.

You are correct on watching DVD's while car in drive - there are a few options, people sell them online between $15 - $30 or what we hope to do is installing a switch to turn on and off that'll let it work (friend installed a newer Pioneer HU and used the switch option to play DVDs).
