OEM struts and shocks turn bad after lowered?
Yep, mine were pretty worn after 10k miles on TRD springs. I expected them to go longer, but was not surprised though.
I regret not spending the extra cash and buying the TRD shocks as well and doing it all at the same time. All is good now though, the TRD shocks are a huge improvement over the stock ones.

installing lowering springs on stock shocks and stuts is like always riding around with 1000 pounds in the car all the time.
the shocks/stuts are always more compressed and it will shorten the life of the shocks/struts
