Default Quater Mile

Ran the box at the quarter mile tonight. Was running low 18's until the sun went down. Best time was a 17.83. My car is an 06 auto with an injen short ram. What does everyone else run?

okay, no offense, but you have an auto, therefore there are virtually no variables in the preponderance of what everyone else runs since the car will perform the same way everytime you drag race it. the only things that change are your reaction times.

half right at best
1) he has an SRI vs stock
2) did you ever explore the possibility of others having mods and the times they have run?
3) How did he get to that time? Was traction control on or off?
4) other variable such as tires/inflation factors
5) maybe he is going to build and wants a base line and some empirical evidence on what mods will actually work or not work
6) All that being said I do not race economy cars.
That being said I can barely nose out a Vespa uphill

For about every run i had traction control off, the radio was not on. Brake boosted every time also. Pulled the fog light cover off infront of the intake.

The only reason i ran it was because it cost the same amount to spectate as it did to race.

I think that the slowest time i ever ran in the xB was a 17 flat...

guess having that extra pedal paid off for something...
