Took a ton of development work. Sent in a rear hatch to the factory, had them 3D scan it, create 3D renderings, and build the steel mold to create the stock-look housing. Then pop out a huge batch of injection molded plastic to house the superflux LEDs.

The original third brake light is a tiny length of LEDs. This custom new one is a much longer array of bright LED stopping power

It is completely plug and play. Just pop off the stock one, unplug it, plug this new one in, and snap this back on. Install time < 30 seconds lol...

thats pretty cool. i wonder if it causes any issues with being to be able to see out the back window. it looks like it takes up more space than the stock light. got any pics from the inside looking out the back?

 

Good question longboardluv. I don't think you'll have any issues with visibility.

I wish I had the cash to pick up a TBL for my gen1, From what I hear its a kick ___ product especially with Oznium being the designer!

 

Nothing really, I guess its just not that Im as unhappy with the tailight as other things

Need a sway bar and drop next, then a CAI. Then the light could be after that.

What about getting an overlay on that Oznium one that says "Scion"? I know Randode makes one for the OEM third brake.
