Default for the love of god, another problem.--Ptguy08

ok, so every once in a while when im in reverse and i slow down and take it out of gear to go to first gear, and most any time i come out of a gear to neutrel, my rpms will bog out really low to like 500 and bounce to 1500 a couple time, and it will either stall out, or it evens out and runs fine.

i dont know what could be causing this, the base map, or i heard about something with the blow off valve not being tight enough that could cause this problem, but i have no idea what thread i read about it on, anyone got any ideas?

and yes, i searched.

oh and by the way, this is ptguy08, i fergot justins name was logged in when i posted this.

could be several things man but sound like a tuning issue.. see what your afrs are on those situations

Could be your blow off valves stays open to long. That was my problem when my car will stall. If that's not the case Check for vacuum leaks or it's your tune. But pretty sure it's your blow off valve.

open up the fic program, open a map that you dont care about, plug in fic unit, click on connect to fic, a window will pop up telling you the cal doesnt match whats on the fic unit, click on "from fic"...thats it

i kinda have the same issue, i am also running off a base map, although i have hks bov.
it happens in reverse and if i have the a/c on boost a little bit and when i let go of the throttle it bogs out. it happens sometimes even when the a/c is off, but not often, if i only boost a little bit and release the throttle(kinda like not going past first gear) it bogs out and sometimes stalls, is this strictly a tuning issue? because my car has been running real hot since i got the turbo put in. buy my a/f reads anywhere fvrom 14.7-15.3 at idle. but when i boost it stays in that area until about 4000 rpm, as the turbo spools, the a/f if kinda lean, is this normal?

oh yeah the car runs hot but does not overheat..... even at idle. its just theres a little bit more heat under the hood than any other boosted tc ive came across . is it because i have a 60 trim?

either recirc your blowoff valve, or get a proper tune, basemaps are great and all but nothing runs better then a tune specific to ur car and set up
