Default Fixed stuttered acceleration

The past week coming from new Mexico to texas my 05 scion was acting up on while i gave it gas, loss of power, car would shake, rpms would not shift smoothly i noticed alot of lag and was afraid of burning the engine on a 80 mile trip getting stranded on the dessert, so i took it slow trying not to accelerate over 2500rpms and prayed to god i get home. I switched out the maf sensor and ran a bit better but still had that lag, today i switched out the old spark plugs to ngk iridium laser, changed its oil cause it needed one, mobil one filter and a stp fuel injector treatment. This made my car back to normal changing gears smooth as butter and actually i gained more hp. I was getting ready to give up on my tc but i made it, i regained its love.

Right, because the fuel and ignition systems were neglected.

yeah bosch doesn't seem to agree with the toyota engines. I personally like the NGK plugs, laser iridiums.. that's what you went with. Shouldn't be another problem, that's what I like about NGK. Can rely that they make good stuff, put it in, it works well. No drama!
