pioneer d3 bypass doesn't work: 'detects parking brake lead'
i had a pioneer avh head unit bypassed with a switch without a problem. i swapped out for a d3 head unit and the bypass switch doesn't work. i get a warning on the screen that says it detects parking brake lead, and after i hit ok, the dvd won't play on the screen when the car is moving. when the car is still, it plays fine tho. how do i get rid of the brake lead warning? do i have to tuck away certain wires somewhere? should i just get the entire head unit reinstalled?
i would like to know what else everyone did. i had mine done at an installer and he couldn't figure it out either. he told me he did other d3's prior with no problem but couldn't get mine to do the same
