whyyy? third time in 3 months!!
so i walk out to my car to take my fiance to work today... and my tire is just about completly flat. so after calling around and not finding anyones help. i turn the blinkers on and drive real slow to a gas station right down the road. fill it up and go get it looked at... and i had a huge nail in the tire.. yea i know it happens.. but just last month when i was borrowing my moms hyundai.. i ran a nail over and got a flat.. and the month before that i ran a nail over in the box and got a flat... what the crap is going on haha i think someone is trying to set me up lol. sorry just had to get on here and complain.
you need to mount some high powered magnets to your front lip, so as you drive, they will get stuck on the magnets and not in your tires!
Sorry about your nail attraction
At least they can be plugged!

yea atleast im only getting nails in my tires.. it could have been worse.. in my mustang i bent the entire rim on a giant pothole. and to get a new rim was going to be 600 dollars.. stupid expensive rims lol. never again will i buy a car with 2,400 dollar wheels on it.
Was it the rear tire? Yeah watch out for work areas roofing and new construction - I picked up a 1/4 20 bolt with painted washer used in steel buildings in my right rear - talk about a hole - snapped some steel cords in the tire too.
Yeah the front tire setup the nail up and the rear tire catches it. You drive too close to the curb. I got one in each rear tire and never rotated them keeping the plugged and patched tires in the back.

is there any construction going on in your area that you regularly drive by? if so, then they are liable for not picking up after their work everyday.
the supermarket in my shopping center where i work was remodelling, and using an empty parking lot accross the street to store equipment and tools and such, and my boss got two flat tires and complained, they had to pay for repairs.
it was rediculous, i could walk out there every afternoon and pick up a dozen or so nails and such. after we complained, they had a street sweeper out there every day to pick up afterthemselves finally.

i am a home bulder and go to sites all the time...I have repaired/lost 7 tires..I just keep road hazard on them....I am going to stay away from your side of town Shawn
Hey ScionD what's with the "13/F"? Discharge rating?
As far as the tires go . . . if I keep getting flats in the rear I would keep the holy tires back there and let them get more. With the Stability control I think it changes things with handling a skid as well as I would rather have good tires in front to engine brake, brake and turn with than a flat tire AND since I never rotated my tires the more tread is in the rear which is what is recommended for better hydroplaning control. Come this winter I plan on putting some new tires in front so I will have some traction in the snow. Just have to figure out if I want to get some more steel rims to mount them on . . . since the front ones still have more miles on them. My sister had a new tire go flat on her in the rear and she didn't even notice it so that would lead me to believe it would be easier to control a rear flat than in front.
